Con alegr\u00eda y regocijo fue recibida por la comunidad parroquial la finalizaci\u00f3n de la construcci\u00f3n de un nuevo velatorio en la parroquia Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Andacollo.<\/p>\n
Este espacio dedicado a velar difuntos es tremendamente importante para la comunidad parroquial y para el barrio. Son muchas las personas de la comunidad que viven en departamentos peque\u00f1os y estrechos, en casas subarrendadas donde habitan varias familias o, simplemente, son indigentes con ninguna posibilidad de contar con un lugar digno y bonito para ser velados.<\/p>\n
En tiempos de pandemia, marcados por la incertidumbre y por el dolor de la p\u00e9rdida de seres queridos, ha cobrado gran relevancia el acompa\u00f1ar en el sufrimiento a familias que pierden seres queridos o el poder ofrecer una despedida cristiana en un espacio hermoso y acogedor. Asimismo, el velatorio se ha convertido en un lugar para toda la comunidad, que ofrece oportunidades de velar a personas cat\u00f3licas, pero tambi\u00e9n de otros credos religiosos o incluso no creyentes. Contar hoy con dos velatorios parroquiales es algo muy apreciado y valorado por la comunidad y tambi\u00e9n por algunas funerarias del sector que estaban expectantes durante su construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
La construcci\u00f3n del nuevo velatorio fue financiada casi en su totalidad gracias a un proyecto presentado y aprobado por Fondos Apostolic, Justice & Peace, junto con los esfuerzos y aportes econ\u00f3micos de la Congregaci\u00f3n de Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n
El nuevo velatorio fue bendecido el d\u00eda viernes 15 de octubre por el p\u00e1rroco P. R\u00f3mulo Vera, contando con la presencia de miembros del Consejo Pastoral Parroquial, las hermanas de Santa Cruz y algunos laicos colaboradores.<\/p>\n
