Su origen se remonta a la peque\u00f1a imagen que, seg\u00fan la tradici\u00f3n, encontr\u00f3 un ind\u00edgena en las cercan\u00edas del mineral de Andacollo, al inicio de la conquista espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n<p>La parroquia Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Andacollo comenz\u00f3 como una capilla y fue erigida como parroquia en 1902. El templo que se mantiene en pie hasta hoy fue construido en 1912. Fue la primera parroquia insertada en un barrio de escasos recursos, hoy sigue siendo un barrio pobre con muchos adultos mayores y ahora cada vez m\u00e1s inmigrantes.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\u200bP\u00e1rroco: Rev.
