As\u00ed lo expresan las Constituciones de la Congregaci\u00f3n de Santa Cruz, y as\u00ed se vivi\u00f3 en el Encuentro de Religiosos J\u00f3venes de Am\u00e9rica Latina, realizado del 2 al 6 de febrero en el Monasterio Itaici, S\u00e3o Paulo, Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro estuvo dirigido a religiosos que se encuentran en sus primeros cinco a\u00f1os de Votos Perpetuos en America Latina y fue organizado por la Congregaci\u00f3n de Santa Cruz del Distrito de Brasil. Participaron representantes de distintos pa\u00edses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Per\u00fa: P. Jim Guti\u00e9rrez, C.S.C. y Hno. Anthony Terrones, C.S.C.<\/li>\n<li>Chile: P. Gabriel Fuentes, C.S.C. y P. Zach Rathke, C.S.C.<\/li>\n<li>M\u00e9xico: P. \u00c1ngel L\u00e1zaro de la Cruz, C.S.C. y P. Pedro Carre\u00f1o, C.S.C. quien reside en Chile.<\/li>\n<li>Brasil: Hno. Severino Borges, C.S.C., P. Rivaldo Oliveira, C.S.C. y P. Antonio Oliveira, C.S.C.<\/li>\n<li>Estados Unidos: P. Ryan Pietrocarlo, C.S.C., quien comparti\u00f3 reflexiones sobre la vida fraterna en Santa Cruz.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Durante los d\u00edas de encuentro, los participantes vivieron momentos de oraci\u00f3n, reflexi\u00f3n y fraternidad, fortaleciendo los lazos que los unen en su vocaci\u00f3n. La jornada concluy\u00f3 con una peregrinaci\u00f3n a la Bas\u00edlica de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Aparecida, donde encomendaron su misi\u00f3n y servicio a la Iglesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComo j\u00f3venes religiosos de Santa Cruz, reafirmamos nuestro deseo de ser signo de esperanza. A pesar de nuestras diferencias culturales, queremos mostrar que la presencia de Dios se hace visible en la diversidad de nuestra comunidad y en la misi\u00f3n que compartimos.\u201d, dijo uno de San Roque, Brunel Victorin, C.S.C y Rousnel-Vichinsky Voltaire, C.S.C. pudieron renovar sus votos por un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s. La misa fue transmitida en l\u00ednea por las redes sociales de la parroquia como lo hacen cada domingo, por lo que sus familias que se encuentran en Hait\u00ed pudieron participar en la celebraci\u00f3n por internet.<\/p><p>Andrew Gawrych, C.S.C., Director de la Casa de Formaci\u00f3n, presidi\u00f3 la Misa y recibi\u00f3 los votos de los dos. En su homil\u00eda, P. Andrew habl\u00f3 sobre c\u00f3mo Jes\u00fas a trav\u00e9s de los votos religiosos--y los votos matrimoniales--nos toca y nos abre los ojos y los o\u00eddos para ver y escuchar claramente la realidad de nuestros hermanos y hermanas. As\u00ed, citando las Constituciones de la Congregaci\u00f3n de Santa Cruz, podemos tener \"la\u00a0habilidad para ver y el valor para actuar ... para que el reino llegue a este mundo.\"\u00a0Despu\u00e9s de la misa hubo una peque\u00f1a recepci\u00f3n en la parroquia, y la comunidad de Santa Cruz se junt\u00f3 en la Casa de Formaci\u00f3n para un almuerzo.<\/p><p>Los religiosos en formaci\u00f3n en Santa Cruz tienen votos temporales que deben renovar cada a\u00f1o, por un m\u00ednimo de tres a\u00f1os, antes de profesar sus votos perpetuos. Rousnel y Brunel profesaron sus primeros votos el 9 de septiembre de 2017 en el Noviciado en Hait\u00ed. Son el tercer grupo de religiosos de Santa Cruz de Hait\u00ed que han venido a Chile como parte de su formaci\u00f3n inicial. La colaboraci\u00f3n empez\u00f3 despu\u00e9s del terremoto en 2010, bajo el liderazgo del Superior del Distrito en aquella \u00e9poca, P. Michael DeLaney, C.S.C. Ha sido una fruct\u00edfera colaboraci\u00f3n de las comunidades de Santa Cruz en los dos pa\u00edses.<\/p><p>Ambos seminaristas son miembros de la Provincia de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Perpetuo Socorro en Hait\u00ed. Llegaron a Chile en noviembre de 2019 para continuar su formaci\u00f3n inicial y estudiar teolog\u00eda.
